Every baseball fan remembers the show that Giancarlo Stanton put on at the Home Run Derby last season. His 61 home runs set a new record, smashing the previous record by 19 home runs. Well, it’s time to introduce you to Australia’s Chris Lynn, the Giancarlo Stanton of the KFC Big Bash League.
In a recent match against the Hobart Hurricanes, Lynn went off for the Brisbane Heat, smacking seven maximums in his team’s victory, including this whopping one that flew roughly 410 feet right out of the stadium and onto the roof.
Absolutely ridiculous. Here's another look.
Lynn currently leads the competition in batting and most runs.
