Despite a tough year in his private life, Craig Anderson has been a beast for the Senators all season and now into the playoffs.
Finishing the year with the fifth best save percentage in the league, he’s been steady all year long. No dips or dives in his performance. There was no tripping him up along the way. His career save percentage hasn’t fallen at all. He’s prevented the Sens from tumbling into the lower parts of the Eastern conference.
It seems like the only that that is falling this year is Craig Anderson’s body, as he took a major spill today when coming onto the ice for practice. As you can see in the video Bobby Ryan was very excited that it got captured on video.
Anderson then goes on to say he did it on purpose, but we’re not inclined to believe him. This is a classic goalie fall. Not to worry though, he’s in good company. Fleury is probably the most famous goalie to take a tumble and he’ll be on the other side of the ice in the Senators series against the Penguins.
