If you had to pick one word to describe DeMarcus Cousins, it would probably be "angry" due to the fact that he seemingly always gets technical fouls and he's played for a mediocre team for his entire career.

That being said, we think Cousins just shows he how much he cares about the game of basketball and bringing the Kings franchise back to the playoffs.

Plus, it doesn't help his reputation and how people perceive him when the referees are constantly going after him, whether they make the correct call or not.

Saturday night, they made a blatantly incorrect phantom call on Cousins that pretty much cost the Kings the game against the Bulls, and he was not happy to say the least.

Although Cousins and the Kings had a chance to win the game on the next possession, they couldn't, and that call was a big reason why they lost despite DeMarcus' 42-point night.

After the game, Cousins was sarcastically kind to the officials for a change when talking about the phantom call.

Rather than being upset, Cousins is taking a different approach.  Maybe this will get him in the good books of some officials...

Or maybe Boggie got all of his anger out before the locker room scrum on this garbage can.

Either way, a loss is a loss at the end of the day, and Cousins and his Kings are 2.5 games back of the Nuggets for the final playoff spot in the West.
