Tim Brent's time in Toronto was short, but he gave it his all every shift and became a likeable player due to his willingness to do anything to help the Leafs win.
That being said, the most memorable Tim Brent moment when he was with the Leafs unfortunately might have been when he was in the penalty box in a game against the Canucks.
As many hockey fans know, the penalty boxes in Vancouver aren't normal due to the infamous Green Men that lurk, and Brent found that out first hand in a game back in 2010.
Nobody knows why the Green Men choose to mock Brent with waffles, but this comic takes a crack at explaining the reasoning behind the taunting, and it's nothing short of incredible.
Try and come up with a better and more detailed explantation that that, we dare you.
Obviously that's not what happened as Brent was talented on the ice from a young age and is happily married with an adorable child, but at the very least it's entertaining.
