What could possibly go wrong when you take one of the most iconic basketball shoes of all time and make it into a golf show? Apparently a lot, actually.

The Jordan 1 forever revolutionized the sportswear industry, with Nike and Michael Jordan teaming up to take signature footwear to a whole new dimension sales wise. The classic sneaker silhouette is still one of the most highly coveted pieces of footwear out there, so naturally it makes sense that new iterations of the shoe continue to be released. It looks like Nike plans on dropping a golf cleat version of the Jordan 1, combining two of MJ's favourite sports into one awkward looking shoe.

There's just something odd about the Nike Free golf cleat design that doesn't sit right with a Jordan 1. Maybe it has to do with the fact that the base is more than twice as big as the original sole on the Jordan 1, or maybe it's just because golf and basketball is a bit of a strange mix.

That is unless you do it right. As proved by Keegan Bradley back at the 2014 Masters with his 11s, Jordan golf cleats can definitely look sweet when done right!

No word on a release date yet, but you can expect this shoe to sell out...regardless of our opinion on the design.
