UFC 207 was supposed to be all about Ronda Rousey’s return to the octagon in over a year, but Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt gave fight fans another reason to get excited for the event. The two certainly delivered in their bantamweight title fight, especially the 25-year-old challenger Garbrandt who seemed to have his way with the former champion throughout the bout.
The two went back and forth exchanging shots and words throughout the fight, but Garbrandt went the extra mile. In his attempt to mock and toy with Cruz throughout the fight, he took the extra moments in between action to show off his dance moves to his opponent.
Garbrandt had a few opportunities to finish off Cruz during the match, but his showboating ended up getting the best of him at the moments. However, Garbrandt got the last laugh and accomplished exactly what he wanted as he became the new UFC bantamweight champion of the world.
