Ben Zobrist has been the ultimate utility man during his MLB career.
After winning a World Series with the Kansas City Royals in 2015, Zobrist signed with the Chicago Cubs during the offseason and even turned down a larger offer from the Washington Nationals in hopes of going back-to-back.
Not only did his wish come true, but he became a fan favourite and hero to Cubs fans during the World Series. Zobrist came up with 10 hits in 28 at-bats, finishing the series with a .357 batting average and .419 on-base percentage to win World Series MVP honours.
Cubs fans waited 108 years to celebrate a World Series title, so they haven’t stopped showing their love for Zobrist just yet. Earlier this week, PLB Sports released ‘Zorilla Crunch’, the official cereal of Ben Zobrist.
It's pretty cool to land on a box of Wheaties, but it’s even cooler to get your own cereal named after you.
David Ross and Anthony Rizzo also got their own brand of cereals. Ross’ cereal is called ‘Grandpa Rossy Crunch’, while Rizzo’s cereal has more of a classic touch and are called ‘Rizzos’.
