Star Wars Night is without a doubt the most popular theme night in all of sports, with its most popular day coming on May 4th.
This year, plenty of Minor League Baseball teams will take part in Star Wars Night either on May 4th or May 5th, depending if they’re at home or not, and one of the best jerseys for the weekend comes out of Carolina.
The Carolina Mudcats, a Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, will pay tribute to Carrie Fisher by rocking Princess Leia-themed uniforms on Friday, May 5, when they host the Frederick Keys.
These is definitely one of the coolest Star Wars-themed jersey any team has rocked over the years. Kids in attendance for Thursday night’s game will also go home with a one-of-a-kind Mudcats arm sleeve that will feature Star Wars related decals and characters.
The Princess Leia jerseys will be auctioned off online with the net proceeds benefitting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina.
