When Phil Jackson joined the New York Knicks a few years ago, the organization and its fans thought things were about to turn around. Instead, the complete opposite happened.

Jackson joined the Knicks at the end of the 2013-14 season and it has pretty much been downhill since then. In his first year with the team, they finished 17-65, which stands as the worst single-season in franchise history.

Over the course of the next two seasons, the team went on to post a 63-101 record, but hit rock-bottom this season when they kicked out Charles Oakley and Jackson started making comments about Carmelo Anthony on social media and in interviews.

Jackson sent out that tweet after reading an article on Anthony, and the drama has escalated ever since. Jackson has been making all sorts of comments ever since that tweet, but his latest one might be the final straw for Anthony.

Anthony got wind of Jackson's comment and responded with an Instagram post.

REALLY ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ #StayMe7o

The caption is pretty simple, as it reads 'REALLY' which is followed up by two laughing crying emojis and the hashtag #StayMe7o.

Whether youโ€™re a fan of Carmelo Anthony or not, the way he has been treated by the Knicks this season has been very disrespectful. When Anthony first arrived in New York, he helped lead the team to three straight postseason appearances after not making the playoffs the previous six years. On top of that, he has led the team in scoring every year since heโ€™s been there.

If this is the end of his time with the Knicks, where do you think he will end up this offseason?
