It’s been a rough two weeks for the Montreal Canadiens.
After opening the 2017-18 NHL season with a 3-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres, the Habs head into Friday night’s game in Anaheim on a six-game losing skid, with their most recent loss coming in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
Although traveling fans didn’t get a chance to see Carey Price get the start, one lucky fan from Irvine, Alberta, still had his night made by the Canadiens’ starting goalie even though he was sitting on the bench.
It’s really cool to see Price come through for the young fan in the middle of the game like that, especially considering it’s a really dark time for the Canadiens and their fans right now.
We’re guessing the young goalie wasn’t too upset about missing out on Price in action after getting an autograph from the former first round draft pick.
