Jordan Subban has had a strong first two season in the AHL, scoring 36 points in both seasons but fans are still waiting to see how he’ll perform in the big leagues.
At the complete opposite end of the spectrum, he gave them a taste of what he can do in the little leagues when facing off against his nephew in a one-on-one dangle drill. They were out on the ice together on Wednesday and Jordan dangled around him six or seven times before finally putting home the puck. He puts it through his own legs, through his nephew’s legs, taps it through the air and pulls off a couple toe drags that break the poor kid’s ankles.
It’s obviously all in good fun, as his nephew seems to be enjoying it just as much as him, but the real winners here are everyone else who gets to watch the hilarious video.
We love seeing pro players show off their skills to kids and any regular Joe. Because let’s be serious, not many rec league players are going to look much better against those dangles anyways.
Our favourite example of this is from a while back when Pavel Datsyuk played a little keep away with a reporter – Spoiler alert: He gets embarrassed.
