The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers are in the middle of one of the greatest sports trilogies of all time.
It’s so rare for two teams to meet in a Championship game twice in a row, that three in a row is almost unprecedented. There have been several big characters in this trilogy, with Steph Curry, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant headlining the latest chapter. They may be the headliners, but with two of the deepest rosters ever meeting in the Finals, there are several other top tier NBA talents in the mix.
One of those players is the other Splash Brother, Klay Thompson.
Thompson, a masterful shooter, looks to produce a masterful performance in the 2017 NBA Finals. He met up with Cabbie to discuss the potential of a special guest accompanying him at the Finals press conference, his role in the Warriors/Cavs trilogy, and his favourite movie trilogy in recent cinema history.
The idea of bringing Thompson’s dog Rocco to a Finals press conference actually came from the last time the Splash Brother visited Cabbie Presents, featuring plenty of uniforms for his appearance at the podium.
With the Warriors up 2-0 in the Finals, we wouldn’t rule it out seeing Rocco at an upcoming press conference.
