There’s no denying that Bryce Harper is one of the most electrifying young players in baseball. His tenacious personality is beyond entertaining to observe, and he’s made it clear that he is on a mission to make baseball “fun again.”
With his goal in mind, Harper showed up to spring training with a special bat (or weapon).
The barbed wire bat was a gift from AMC’s The Walking Dead, and the former NL MVP has apparently taken a liking to it.
Harper wasn’t the only player to receive the gift. Recently, Detroit Tigers slugger J.D. Martinez received one, too.
Catchers should proceed behind the plate with caution.
