Brendan Gallagher and Carey Price have proven to be good friends in their time together as Canadiens teammates, but apparently in the summer, they don’t see each other as much.
Apparently, Gallagher has a pretty simple reason for that being the case – he can’t get a hold of Price.
Price is known to be somewhat of an outdoorsman, spending lots of his childhood in a log cabin in BC or as Gallagher puts it, in the woods. Gallagher said that’s where you can find Carey in the summer, and that’s what makes him so difficult to get a hold of in the offseason.
He goes on to say that because he’ll often leave his phone at home or off, you’ll sometimes be waiting a week until you hear back from him. Perhaps that’s how he’s able to stay so calm and composed in net, because of all the relaxing and time away from his phone he has in the summer.
Or maybe that’s where he meets up with his greatest teacher, the goalie llama.
