There are two players in the NFL named Brandon Marshall.
One plays wide receiver for the New York Giants and the other plays linebacker for the Denver Broncos.
Both players also have different Twitter handles (@BMarshall and @BMarshh54), yet football fans constantly mix them up and Monday night was another example of that.
Marshall didn't have a great game as the Giants lost to the Lions at home and fans decided to tweet at him to display their frustration. Some fans, though, tweeted at Brandon Marshall of the Broncos and he decided to have some fun with them:

This isn't the first time this has happened before and it won't be the last (which is ridiculous because you'd think people would just read Marshall's Twitter bio or notice that the number in his handle is 54), but we're glad it won't be the last if Marshall is going to have this much fun with it.
Also, football fans can be really, really mean, so it's nice to see a player standing up for other players and going at the fans that think the sport is so easy while sitting on their couch watching it.
