On Monday night at the NBA Awards in New York City, Naismth Memorial Bill Russell received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Shaquille O'Neal, David Robinson, Dikembe Mutombo, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Alonzo Mourning all took to the stage to present Russell with the award, when suddenly he turned to them and let them all know that he would 'kick their ass.'
Russell deserves the Lifetime Achievement Award for roasting NBA legends after that unexpected comment. It shows once again that Russell is a legend in more areas than basketball... adding comedy to the long list.
