If you spot Bill Murray out in public these days, it’s most likely at some sort of sporting event. From passionately cheering on his beloved Chicago Cubs during their World Series run to stealing the show at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Murray is just down to have a good time in the presence of other sports fans.
The March Madness bracket got underway on Thursday afternoon, and you can bet that Murray is catching some games live in person.
Murray was in attendance for Xavier’s upset victory over Maryland and was loving every second of it.
If you’re wondering why Xavier of all teams is Murray’s team in this year’s tournament, it’s because his son, Luke, just happens to be their assistant coach.
Xavier’s next game will be this Saturday against the winner of Florida State and FGCU, so expect Murray to be going wild in attendance this weekend.
