Every NHLer dreams of one day having their very own day with the Stanley Cup, but only a few ever get the opportunity.
Back in 1995 when the New Jersey Devils won the Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history, former NHLer Bill Guerin prepared himself for his day with the cup. Seeing his opportunity to pull a funny prank, keeper of the Cup Phil Pritchard decided to pull a fast one on Guerin by making the cup disappear. Check out the animated retelling of the tale.
"I literally wanted to kill him." Note to self, don't prank NHLers on one of the most important days of their lives. Unless you want to risk getting jersey'd and tossed into the streets.
