The Toronto Raptors returned home from a six-game road trip on Thursday night and the fans were happy to have their team back home. The Raptors trailed by as much as 11 before fighting back in the third quarter to make it a game again, and they got contributions from just about everywhere.
With the Jazz leading 63-62 in the third quarter and Derrick Favors at the line to shoot two, fan favourite Lucas “Bebe” Nogueira stepped up in an unusual way in an attempt to make Favors miss.
Alright, so perhaps he was just adjusting his uniform and wasn’t trying to distract Favors while he took the shot, but we’re guessing that’s something he’s going to keep between him and his teammates. It doesn’t matter if he intended to do it on purpose or not, though, because Favors ended up missing the shot anyways.
