Beau Bennett is looking to claim the NHL’s funniest man on Twitter award (He’s definitely nominated for the fake award), and he only improved his case with this latest tweet.
Last year, while Beau Bennett played 33 regular season games and one playoff game with the Penguins, he didn’t end up with his name on the Stanley Cup. He didn’t meet the requirements to automatically have his name on the cup, but the team could have put in a special request. Ultimately, they didn’t but he didn’t seem to upset.
He would have been especially bummed if his name was put on the cup like it was put on another cup today. Bennett joked on Twitter that he finally got his name on a cup, but it was spelled wrong and written rather sloppily – as it usually is on Starbucks cups.
Bennett’s Twitter game is on point lately.
