The Houston Astros finished with the third-best record in all of baseball this season, so not many people were giving the Boston Red Sox a chance against the AL West champions in the ALDS.

After taking the first two games 8-2 it looked like the Astros were going to pull off the sweep, but the Bo Sox shocked everyone by putting together a massive 10-3 victory in Game 3. On Monday afternoon, Boston was an inning and a half away from forcing a Game 5, but thanks to a late rally by the Astros they managed to pull off a series-clinching victory.

Considering the Astros finished third in their division and failed to make the playoffs last season, this win was a big one for Astros fans and the city of Houston.
