When LeBron is on the court, you can be sure that he’s giving it his all.
He and other NBA stars are given plenty of rest as they approach the post season, because the way the NBA is structured makes that an intelligent strategy, but when he’s on the court, he’s going 100%. That’s why you’ll see plenty of photos of him diving for balls, jumping into the crowd and, of course, completing highlight-reel plays only he can make.
Through all of this, he’s inspired a lot of people, but he may have just inspired the greatest work of art in his career.
LeBron was facing off against the Lakers in Cleveland and he dove into the crowd and Associated Press photographer Tony Dejak snapped a photo of him getting swarmed people in the crowd and it inspired an artist to create a renaissance-like painting.
It’s amazing how well the picture fits. He didn’t change anything about the sizing or positioning of the photo and instead just painted over different parts of the photo. His nickname fits pretty perfectly for the era as well, because he truly looks like King James in this case.
