In an outtake from the third episode of 'CFL Around the Table,' a segment hosted by Rod Smith and set to air Saturday night, B.C. Lions wide receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux made an interesting comment. ‘The Manny Show’ made a bold guarantee to Calgary Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell, and to Lions fans, that his team will not lose to the Stamps this season.
Of course, the Stampeders had an almost flawless regular season last year, going 15-2-1, and eventually falling to the Ottawa Redblacks in the Grey Cup.
Our favourite part of the interview might be the confidence Bo shows before Manny makes his comment, casually saying he’s still looking to go 18-0 during a regular season.
We can’t wait to see this Around the Table episode... but are anticipating the first Stamps vs. Lions game even more than that.
