Heading into Wednesday's second leg of the Round of 16 knockout game Barcelona knew that they needed to score at least 4 goals to keep their hopes of advancing alive versus PSG. After scoring 3 first half goals, Barcelona's dreams were seemingly dashed by a spectacular volley from Edison Cavani, giving PSG a 5-1 lead on aggregate, as well as a crucial away goal (tiebreaker). That's when they made history, scoring 3 goals after the 87th minute mark. You genuinely need to see it to believe it.
Soccer announcers in Spain are already known for their over the top celebrations, so you can imagine just how crazy things got after Barcelona scored the game-winning goal. Here are the scenes from inside the booth of a local Barcelona television broadcast.
