The Minnesota Timberwolves and Orlando Magic went head-to-head on Monday night at the Target Center in Minnesota. The T-Wolves have been on a roll as of late, winning five of their last six games including Monday night’s 111-105 overtime victory over the Magic.
One of the reasons for Minnesota’s latest streak has to do with the play of 21-year-old Andrew Wiggins, who is averaging 25.5 points over that span. On Monday night, Wiggins was at it again as he dropped 27 points in the victory, including this emphatic slam over Nikola Vucevic.
Andrew Wiggins can fly indeed as he proved with that huge dunk. That’s not the first time we’ve witnessed Wiggins throw down a powerful slam like that one and there’s certainly plenty more where that came from.
