Since losing to the Colts in the Super Bowl back in 2006, the Chicago Bears have made the playoffs just once.
Jay Cutler, who's been the team's starting quarterback since 2009, couldn't lead Chicago back to the promised land and likely won't be back in town come next season, which essentially signals the start of a rebuild.
After a blowout loss to the Vikings on Sunday in their last game of the season, the Bears fell to 3-13, which is the franchise's worst record since 1969 when they were 1-13.
What we're trying to say is it can't get much worse, but after the game against Minnesota, it did, courtesy of Alshon Jeffery.
Kudos to Jeffery for having more confidence than any player in NFL history. This is probably the boldest guarantee ever, especially considering the Bears may have a rookie quarterback at the helm next season.
Plus, the most interesting part of this entire equation is that Jeffery might not even be back in the Windy City next season as he's scheduled to become a free agent.
In any case, whether he's a Bear next year or not, this guarantee will follow Jeffery wherever he goes, and the internet will make sure of that.
