Justin Williams has proved time and time again that he’s a big game player in the playoffs.
Last night, he came up big with the series clinching assist in overtime, but that didn’t grant him any good favour back home. As he arrived back in DC, maybe his foot was feeling a little heavy because he was pulled over and slapped with a speeding ticket.
Clearly this cop is not a hockey fan. Williams is likely a hero to many Capitals fans after putting up six points in the six games series against the Leafs, most of them in timely scenarios. In fact, he's so clutch that he’s basically the unanimous pick for overtime whenever it happens to roll around again.
Despite that, Williams isn’t after the individual stats. He’s got his eyes on the prize and showing off his math skills with this tweet after the game.
