There are some players in the NHL that just haven't been able to lift the Stanley Cup yet over their illustrious careers.
Joe Thornton, Jarome Iginla and Henrik Lundqvist are three of the most obvious examples that come to mind because of how incredible their careers have been.
All of have suffered heartbreaking losses in the Stanley Cup final and all haven't been able to break through and lift hockey's most prestigious prize.
Lundqvist was on the wrong end of another heartbreaking season this year as New York lost to Ottawa in the second round of the playoffs.
Rather than waiting until next season for some redemption, Lundqvist decided to play for Sweden at the World Hockey Championship after the Rangers were eliminated.
Thursday, he led Sweden to a quarter-final win over Switzerland as he made 26 saves in the win.
While Lundqvist received his player of the game award, though, a random fan yelled out "Rangers suck", and Henrik's reaction to the comment was priceless.
Coincidence Lundqvist smiled after the comment was made? We think not.
Hockey fans enjoy seeing the 35-year-old smile more than sulk, and we imagine there will be more smiles if Sweden beats Finland to advance to the finals, and you can watch the game Saturday on TSN.
