We think all sports fans would agree with us when we say the worst part about any sport is an athlete suffering an injury.

It doesn't matter if the injury keeps them out for one game or forever, the bottom line is injuries suck and nobody wants to see a player get hurt.

Unfortunately, though, injuries are part of every sport, especially hockey, and fans saw former NHLer Wojtek Wolski suffer an awful injury in a KHL game back in October.

Wolski suffered a concussion, spinal cord trauma and fractured two vertebrae after sliding headfirst into the boards.  The injuries forced him to miss the rest of the KHL season.

Thankfully it looks like Wolski has fully recovered from the horrific injury he suffered.

Tuesday, the former Av posted this video on Instagram of himself training for the upcoming KHL season.

Amazing to be back on the ice getting ready for the upcoming season in the @khl @sk8onhockey #hockey #khl

When devastating injuries like the one Wolski suffered first occur, you never know if that player will be able to fully recover, but we couldn't be happier to see the 31-year-old back on the ice playing the game he loves.

It's been a long road to recovery, but it looks like Wolski is finally at the end of that road and he's ready to try and win another Gagarin Cup, something he did as a member of Magnitogorsk back in 2016.
