The Philadelphia 76ers’ NBA D-League affiliate the Delaware 87ers are going to look a little different than usual when they hit the court this Friday when they host the Salt Lake City Stars.
If you’re wondering what’s going to be so different about the team on Saturday, it’s the fact that they’re hosting their Nickelodeon Night.
They mention that the Pink Ranger will make a guest appearance at the game in their banner, but what they didn’t mention is the fact that they’re going to rock some special uniforms to go along with the theme.
These uniforms are incredible, and even 76ers big man Joel Embiid seems to agree.
The 87ers are not going to be the first team to wear Power Rangers themed uniforms. The ECHL’s Toledo Walleye rocked some fantastic Power Rangers-themed uniforms earlier this month.
With the new Power Rangers movie set to be released in theatres later this month we’re guessing there’s going to be a few more teams who get in on the craze in the near future.
